Excalibur

This one of my 3D animation exercise :
A character in front of Excalibur tries to take this sword but doesn't succeed.
I decide to animate a pretentious character who thinks he can get it easily on his first try but quickly understand that it will be much harder.

Walk This Way

This time, i chose to animate a realistic, peaceful walk cycle.
I made this animation in one day.
I will try to make different types of walk soon.

The Wall

Few months ago, a professional animator told me that a man climbing a wall is a good exercice in 3D animation.
That's why, i decided to take up the challenge !

The noblest conquest of men

As an another demonstration of my basics skills, i just made a realistic horse gallop in 3D.
This was my first 3D animation in Maya.

Here is my one minute short movie's making of.
It shows the differents steps of my work from story-board to the final render.

The Samurai's Temptation

Here is my one minute short movie that i made last year in Supinfocom.
I did everything from scenario to the final render.

Ecology it is the future !

Last summer, i worked for Digital District, in Paris. Render Wrangler was the job i had to do for the short animation movie called : Un souffle extraordinaire.
It was very interesting because i learned many things about production and also some tips in 3d animation and compositing.
Here is the short movie :

Flip Book

This was another project i made during my internship. We had to make the credits of a famous french TV Show.
In this project i made all the modeling of the balloons in Maya and then in Mudbox and i also made some of the compositing.

How Would You Do It ?

This summer i made my internship in Mathematic Studio in Paris.
I worked on several projects. One of them was a clip of Medi, a french singer.
In this clip i made the animation, the rendering, the compositing and the rotoscoping 2D/3D and part of the modeling.
Moreover, i made the whole sequence when the singer takes a guitar. In this one, i had to create a real guitar because he hadn't one when the plan was shot.

It's Destiny !!!

This is my the first lipsynch. I took a sentence of John Locke in the series LOST.
I made this in one week.
This animation is a work in progress. I'm going to enhance this video with the animation of the tooth and the tongue.

The Bouncing Balls Part 2

This was the second exercice we had in 3D animation : ping-pong ball.
I found this exercice harder than the previous one because we had to find the right timing which was obviously very tricky.

The Boucing Balls Part 1

This was my first exercice in 3D animation this year. We started with the same exercice that i made last year in 2D animation.
Indeed, we were supposed to make an animation of a heavy ball.
It's very short and it seems to be easy but it's not.

Tribute to Pixar

Everybody loves PIXAR ! Well, as our first short animation movie, we had to make 30 secondes of animation using the ball, which appeared in the famous Luxo Jr, and two lamps. I loved this subject, it was the best thing i had to do this year in Supinfocom. Here is the final version, i made some modifications on the thread.

The Postman

Here is the final render for my postman made in 3DS max. Just to remember, i made all the modeling, the shading, the texturing, the lightning and the rendering.
We owed to make a realistic render with a twilight, an other render with a back light, and a final one with a daylight.

Twilight :

Back light :

Daylight :

Finding Nemo II

I've just made the shading, the texturing and the lightning on this scene. It was very hard to give an underwater atmosphere just using 3DS max.
We owed to make a realistic underwater which wasn't so deep and make a daylight for the render.

You must go to the lighthouse, not the temple !

Finding Nemo !

The second project in 3D in Supinfocom. I have to make a realistic underwater with daylight ! It's a work in progress, i'm going to rescale the fish and put it in another place because the composition is not quite well !

Nuance of grey :

Test of several shading especially for the fish :

Please Mr Postman !

And finally, the entire postman without the texture and the shading ! Don't forget, it's still a work in progress !

Give me a hand !

When the head was done, we had to make the hands !

A head ahead !

Another project for Supinfocom but this time it's for the image conception. I had to make a portrait of profession in 3D. First, i had to start with the head, which is the most difficult. I decided to choose a postman of the Second World War.

What else ?

This was the first 3D project i made in Supinfocom with 3D Studio Max and with no post-production ! I hope George will buy it !

Déjeuner sur l'herbe !

I made this picture to discover the 3D. It was made in Maya 2008. I wasn't in Supinfocom yet. It's fun to look at this picture because there are a lot of mistakes like the proportion of the tree but like i said, it was just a test !

It's a bit cold over there !

This was my first 2D animation which was for the "Festival du Cinéma Nordique" in Rouen. It was broadcast in theaters before every movie.

A new hope !

That's where it all begins. All the visual effects were made in After Effects.
